Hi!  I am Ismat Jahan.  I am a healthy food enthusiast!  I am not a health expert or nutritionist.  I’m just a normal person like you.  However, I have been studying healthy food and healthy habits to maintain my weight for the last eight years.  Because I believe becoming fit and staying fit is essential to enjoy life.  My friends often ask me how I am able to maintain my weight at the same level for such a long time. I would like to share that story with you today.

I was not always like this.  About twelve years ago I used to work in a charity organization.  There we used to have inhouse lunch and after some time it became a tradition to have a special lunch on the last day of the week, EVERY WEEK! As a result I became 10 kg overweight.  After some time my projects were finished and I left that office.  Then I decided to do something about my weight.  I joined a weight loss programme and there in three months I shed six kg weight.

I decided to lose more weight on my own.  I developed my own diet and continued light exercises.  From then on, I started studying about healthy food and healthy habits.  And slowly I developed my own formula, GRADUAL & CONSISTENT™ Formula of Weight Loss.

I know that it’s very difficult to lose weight. That is why I want to share with you all my GRADUAL & CONSISTENT™ Formula of Weight Loss.  You probably know that sugar is one of the main reasons for weight gain. But most of us have sweet teeth. I love ice cream and chocolate. But to enjoy a scoop of ice cream once in a while, I avoid regular sugar intake. You can do that also.

In Step 1, you have already learned how to avoid regular intake of sugar from your diet without missing it.  And in Step 2 you also learned about how to reduce starch and excess protein intake from your diet.  

These two steps will help you move in the right direction. However, you will also need to follow all the other steps of my GRADUAL & CONSISTENT™ Formula of Weight Loss to BECOME FIT and STAY FIT.  As I mentioned in the last two videos, I want to help you with that.

I want to share with you how I was able to LOSE WEIGHT WITHOUT GIVING UP TASTY FOOD.  Along with Step 1 and Step 2, I took a number of other steps.  To share with you my experience, I wrote a book called BECOME FIT and STAY FIT: How to Lose Weight at Your Own Pace Without Giving Up TASTY Food.  In this book I shared all the steps of my GRADUAL & CONSISTENT™ Formula of Weight Loss that you can take to BECOME FIT and STAY FIT yourself without giving up tasty food.

In addition to Steps 1 and 2, I did a number of light exercises regularly.  As I don’t like to exercise for a long time or any strenuous exercise, to ensure that I lose weight and maintain it with light exercises, I did light exercises consistently, almost every day.
