Ismat Jahan
Ismat Jahan is a truly optimistic person and has diverse interests. She is passionate about photography, filmmaking, and writing. Ismat studied Economics, Business Administration, Photography, and filmmaking. She worked in marketing, advertising, and later on in the development sector. She loves creative works and integrates her rich experiences of different sectors into her passion. In addition to all these she is a foodie. She loves to eat and loves to cook her favourite food items.
However, Ismat is also health conscious and enjoys healthy food. As she knows how to cook, she loves experimenting, and loves to make healthy food tasty.
Around ten years ago, for some reason she gained weight, about 10 kg above her normal weight. At some point she decided to do something about that and she joined a weight loss programme. However, it didn’t answer all her requirements, so she developed her own diet plan and exercise routine. She succeeded in achieving her goal and she is able to maintain her body weight for the last nine years.
She wanted to share that story with all of you who are also struggling to lose weight. So, in September 2025, she first published a book. Later she studied more about healthy food and wrote a newer version of the book, specially for women over 50, with a new title , `For Those Who Hate Dieting: Lose Weight with TASTY Food at Your Own Pace’.
In this book she shared her process GRADUAL & CONSISTENT™ Formula of Weight Loss to help you lose weight and maintain it. It worked for her and she believes it will work for you also, because the objective will be set by you, at your own pace, and you won’t have to eat bland, tasteless food.
She also loves to translate classic literature into English and published collections of eleven short stories of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore in two volumes. Ismat also published two photography books.
