Introduction

Hello everyone!  I hope you are doing well, and I am glad that you want to make changes in your life to make it healthy and joyful. Before starting, I must inform you that  I am not a dietitian or a nutritionist, and I am also not a physical trainer or fitness expert.  I am just like you, a person who wants to stay fit and enjoy life.  In addition, I don’t have a perfect body, just trying to achieve a fit and healthy body and remain that way.  

However, I am not overweight, my collar bones are visible and have some curves also!  Ha, Ha, Ha!  I do have a small belly, as you probably know it’s very difficult to get rid of belly fat!  When I do regular exercises (for around 10 minutes daily) then it gets smaller and when I am not so regular it becomes protruding.

In addition, I love eating.  But, as much as I love chocolates and ice creams, I also love vegetables and other healthy meals.  The secret is making all the meals tasty and keeping your portion of sweets small and for occasional treats only.

If you are like me, a regular person who just wants to BECOME FIT AND STAY FIT, and your goal is to have a healthy body, not a perfect body, then this book is for you.

In this book you will find a process to decrease your weight to become a fit person. It will be according to your pace, so you won’t feel any pressure.  You will set the objective and the pace.  You could lose weight quickly by increasing the pace of change, but I won’t recommend that.  Because, you want the process to stay with you, you want to continue.  

So, I recommend setting a pace of change which suits you, nobody else.  You are doing this for yourself.  Otherwise, it won’t be successful.  You have to want to do it for yourself, not for anyone else.  You need to become a fit person for yourself.  Period!  Not for what others feel about you or say to you.  You must do it for yourself, you MUST WANT to do it. 

To help you want it, I am sharing TEN Great reasons:

  2. A Fit person means a confident person in any situation.
  3. Being a fit person means you would be able to enjoy life more; you would be able to visit places, you won’t fear climbing stairs or trekking mountains.
  4. Being a Fit person means, if there is any problem anywhere, you can help yourself easily and save yourself.
  5. Fit person means less medicines, less visits to doctors, even at old age.
  6. Being fit means you can indulge into your favourite food once in a while without worrying.
  7. If you don’t control your weight, it will continue to increase, and the older you get the more difficult it will become to lose weight.  Because extra weight brings many different physical problems along with it.  For example, overweight people suffer from arthritis, which may result in osteoporosis, as their knees can no longer carry their body weight easily.
  8. Different physical problems will make it difficult to move, so exercising becomes a very difficult option. The more painful the knees become, the less you will move and the more you will gain weight.
  9. Weight gain is a cycle, the more you eat the more you gain weight, and more weight means you would feel hungrier and so you will consume more.  So, the cycle goes on.
  10. In addition, your weight affects your dear ones.  The heavier you become, the difficult it becomes for them to support you.  If you become sick for any reason, it would become difficult for them to carry you.
